Bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance adapted to each patient's individual needs.

Vital Signs & Patient Observation

Measuring and recording vital signs, and recognizing and reporting changes in a patient's condition.

Infection Control & Safety

Infection prevention practices, standard precautions, and safe patient handling in facility and in-home settings.

Patient Rights & Communication

Resident rights, dignity, and interpersonal communication, including care for cognitive impairment and mental health needs.

Clinical Practice

50 hours of supervised clinical practice in a long-term care setting, half of the program's total hours.
